There were few newish faces, so there were introductions and discussion about interests in photography. There are a lot of people are into landscape photography , as well as architecture (including real estate), streetscape, action, band/music, portraits, animals, wildflowers.
A significant theme came out of the discussion that the group should be about the **passion for photography** and that camera type isn’t important. It is not necessary to be an experienced DSLR user to participate in the group. That being said, there will be times when it gets reasonable technical – raw, ISO, Photoshop, so be prepared to learn!
Some ideas that came out of the discussion:
- Camera workshop in combination with a walk around Euroa. Planned for next meeting. Details to follow
- Session of photography using a flash. Tentatively April, lead by Pete
- Photo shoot at Skydive Euroa (Dropzone). Elissa to coordinate
- Mike is happy to lead a shoot at Marraweeney falls (with permission from landowners, Matine!) after we get some rain
- Claire might be able to get us onto a property at Creightons Creek with a few old chimneys and cool relics
- We can probably get back onto the Gooram property for stunning views east and west. Maybe some champagne this time?
- Pet photography
Deb gave an excellent presentation on the “Beloved Technique” which celebrates and emphasises the importance of relationship.http://www.belovedcollective.co/
Happy snapping,
